Terri McFarland

Terri McFarland began her banking career in July 2000 as a teller.  Terri wanted to know everything there was to know about the banking world and volunteered for any additional duties she might do to gain a vast knowledge within different departments of the bank. Within a few years of her career, a management position opened in which she applied. The Management team of the bank was afraid she was not ready but gave her the opportunity.

In 2006 Terri accepted a position at a Springfield area Bank as Branch Coordination and later became the Chief Operations Officer. In her position there, she played a role in the turn around and profitability of that bank.

Terri has been Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer of Systematic Savings Bank since July 2014. Her primary responsibilities include all daily operations including but not limited to Managing and Working Retail Deposit Operations, Human Resources Director, and Bank Secrecy Compliance. Her greatest joy in her current position is being able to work with a small bank that has the ability to see every customer that walks through the door. On any given day she may be found working the teller line, opening new accounts or answering the phone. Having the ability for her customers to have a one-stop-shop for any of their banking needs is very satisfying.

One of Terri’s proudest accomplishments was being voted employee of the year by her peers on two occasions. Terri has a great desire to assist in the development of other employees that wish to advance in their careers. Throughout Terri’s career she has been part of many Chamber Committees as well as Charitable organizations. Terri continues her banking education through Missouri Bankers Association.
